Dan was ready about the guy with 507 NM of torque destroying his drive shafts, you having to do anything to stop this happening to your car?

There are guys running way more power than this in the states, I dont consider it an issue. :)

Well the current power is a bit of a problem in the wet. I basically never put my foot down on a standstill though, I normally apply full power when im already on the move, so its not such a problem in normal driving :)

The diff im getting will help great so everyone tells me.. so looking forward to that... :)

Good news though hopefully, should have my rods tommorow or tuesday :)

Hi mate
Strange question but on the picture of your engine where is the vacuum hose? Is it the 1 of the 2 on the left hand side of the picture? Is that where i should be plumbing my boost gauge into?

ThanK1ng U , Chris:)

I think they are coolant hoses mate.

I have a tap into a boost line where my forg valve used to be, its on the right hand side just underneath the end of my modded engine cover, nearer the front of the engine. I'll see if I can get some pics up.

U mean your old Forge Dump valve? So is the standard DV a Forge DV007p cuz my mate told me it was? And where's that? Under the engine cover??

Oh and FYI 1 of the hoses on the left is not fluid but did not provide any suction for vacuum & the other we couldn't get off

I meant the forge Diverter valve for the FSI T engines.

The standard diverter is not forge no, its a VAG part.

The diverter valve location is sligtly different on the FR/sport and cupra engines. The diverter valve is located o the turbo in mine, but on the cupra, its at the front of the engine quite easily viable near the top, slightly to the right.

Forge DV007P is a 1.8T dump/diverter valve, so your mate needs to stop telling you things.

Dump/Diverter valve on the TFSI Cupra is located at the front of the engine as Dan says.

You can see below the Forge DV - FMFSITVR which is the part for the Cupra fitted to mine.

The large hose which runs from the DV round to the intake is a remote vacuum line for the DV and is standard on the Cupra.

The older TFSI like Dan's and the FR's have the DV located behind the engine on the turbo.

Forge DV's on the TFSI are a metal mechanical piston valve controlled by an electrical solenoid.

The standard VW DV is an all in one unit encompassing a built in solenoid and rubber sealed plunger.
