259bhp thats rather a lot.......

Dyno lottery, Alex. Its more realisticaly circa 245bhp once all my issues are sorted out.

how long did it take to fit the manifold? im put off by fitting one for the reason of acsess its so tight round there.

Took me and Dave (DPJ) about 12 hours to do mate.

......Did it start right after the mani installation?

Yes, started straight after fitting the mani. Its all coming back off on Thursday to find the issue..

Yea I'd check boost / ignition first aswell. Manifold work on the Mk4 Ibiza's are the 2nd last thing I'd like to do, while being dragged up a flagpole by the nuts being the last thing, but that sorta puts things into perspective ! :help:

I am, as offered, more than willing to help - but I'm really not convinced that the manifold is leaking. I reckon we should examine all boost related solutions first. If we can't find it, maybe do the mani the following week?

The boost/torque graphs are very telling..............

Yea, thats where I wanted to start Dave. Then mani the following week if we dont find anything (if you dont mind :)).

Do you think it could be something that we dropped that has lodged somewhere and rattling on the block, tricking the knock sensor...

I would leave that last.
did you do any logging to see why it does all the flunctuation?
It is more than obvious that it backs off on boost too, a lot! The question is why?
I would be very curious to see what the injection timing is between 4000-5500 rpm

Same here, mine made 258 last week on the cold run then went down slightly as it was re ran on the rollers....was told its a easy 245 on every day driving in the warmer temps :)

Do you think manifold was worth replacing? you seem to have quite a bit more torque than me although I don't really want any more as its quite an aggressive map and struggles for traction in this crap weather.

What power at the wheels did your's make, Adam? What torque did you make?

Yea, mani is worth doing if you have already maxed out your current setup.

225 at the wheels I think that works out to?

Torque I presume is where it says 'Max Couple' 350.7NM at 4148GM [129.7kmh] although that seems to work out to the BHP to?......unless there the same?
