this is balls man, why is everyone sooo keen on a loud noise from there dv, it reminds me of people who are DESPERATE to tell everyone they have a turbo. if you've got a fmic people "in the know" will know you have one anyway. but to get a dumpvalve that isnt really suited to our cars just for a bit of sound is just a bit stupid in my mind (bring on the abuse split-r owners!!!)

answer:

why do people add amplifiers to their sound system? so bypassers can enjoy the music as well? so they can hear everything rattle on the car?
why do people put different wheels on their car? the ones they have spin as well
why do people clean their engine bays?
Why do people add a LCR splitter?

basically you could name anything which does not help performance whatsoever if you look at it like you're doing.

i saw this on a car at gti spring fest i think it looks different if works good on 007p i would investigate further just for the benefit of the cold air tbh

I want to do this personally because I think it looks better up front, I will be getting the 007p so not for the sound like others. At the end of the day you mod the car the way you want it regardless of what other think.

Nice one mate about time you got it on there lol. Ive got another person to back me up on how loud the turbosmart valve is now aswel lol.

yea had to wait for the stuff to arive because it wouldnt of fitted the standard pipe from the mani....plus it was a nice day so thought why not.

like said just your opinion...but i grew up around southend (if u no the place you will no what in talking about)...lol...my first experiance of turbo's was the siera cosworth and escort rs turbo, i dont like it to show everyone ive got a turbo. I do it because i love the sound of it all and for my own enjoyment much the same as you listen to the music u like...to me its how a turbo car should sound...and how is the d/v not suited to the car...?? Oh btw not getting at you its just my opinion...:

its a passion thing i think mate....everyone is always going to have things to say about anything but in general i think its a self expression thing...
