I just stole myki da pyki's idea with his famous copper bend from homebase or b&q. :cartman:

Its 22mm but it flares out at the ends so makes it 25mm

but im going to look into geting a bend from a d/v fitting kit though but i just wanted it on now so it will do the job for now...

i think i may have to do this now!! nice one silencer

If you got a turbosmart or split-r and you want it louder than id say its defo a good one to do..

not sure what effect it would have on a 007p i got one lying around so i may have to put it on just to find out..

Id get the turbosmart over the split-r anyway mate the split-r is louder than the 007p but the turbosmart is louder than both. just make sure its the dual port one mine is the "konpact" series.

ive seen a few people say they found the split-r hard to set up properly with how many clicks etc the turbosmart one just turns freely so can be set really easy mines open by about 1/3 or so...

I think its more expensive than the split-r worth the extra though IMO...there both dual port so vent back into the system and into the atmos...

theres a few video's from myki when he had his done have a search for turbosmart through his threads get an idea on what it sounds like...

get neither, 007p is the best dv for our cars and its tried and tested, why do you want a wooshy wooshy sound anyway? buy a decent air filter n youll get the sound u r after, why throw out air when it can get chucked straight back in? dont understand why people are soooooo keen on the noise of there dv. buy a scooby or a glanza if u want that.

myki btw, used your copper bend technique the other day on my custom route chargepipe to DV. Bought 2 bends used for waterpipes in 23mm. Works a treat however looks a little less, but atleast does the job and allows me to drive on full boost again. :)

might relocate mine to teh dash! imagine the sound then!!!!!!!! wow, would sound rate loud. Like a scooby!

Sorry, but the first post made me laugh. Is there any benefit to this other than just the sound?

Edit: just noticed the DV you have ::rolleyes: explains everything (should have guessed you'd have one of them :D)

who needs a reason, it looks cool lol! :)

how does it look cool? just looks cluttered at the front of the bay

if there was a purpose fair enough. But to make it sound more like a scooby - sod that! wooshy DV is bad enough IMO, moving it to sound louder and attract more 14 year old girls is even worse

were discussing opinions which everyone has I'm afraid! I think it make the bay look a bit different from the standard oo7p!

I've never heard the sound they make hence the I'll search around nearer the time and Im not sure what goes on in your neck of the woods dude but cruising for 14 year olds???

Edit: dash idea might work though!

Theres 2 purposes to this. 1. It dumps cold air back into the system not hot. and 2. It sounds frickin awesome (with a turbosmart fitted lol)
