I've only used a bit but so far it seems really good, it works on tyre's, engine plastics & hoses and the interior, It bought the "B" pillars up really well :D

Looks loads better mate , but you should have hid the balast when you fitted the fmic ,also the rubber care is ok crap on tyres but I use it as a dash cleaner , the best tyre stuff that leaves them shiny for weeks is meguires it's a purple gel can't remember the name but it's the nuts also good for engine bits and leaves it shiny

Sure looks mighty purdy

Saw the washer bottle cover in person this evening at the London meet, the pics dont do it justice.

Actually sat in the car too (I miss my LCR) but while I was in there I kept noticing little touches I'd forgotten about (love that gearknob), anyway car looked great.

Keep up the good work Daz

I meet up with Brad1 at the weekend and he left a nice big Jetex filter in my car so I thought I'd fit it to see what all the fuss was about

I've left the bottom half of the airbox in place for now as I was going to try and refit the carbon heat sheild but at the moment it wont fit, I might to try and mod it a bit

First thing I noticed was the noise, I had an open cone on my old 220 Turbo which was pretty loud but I wasnt expecting the LCR to be as loud as what it is, the DV is a lot louder and you can hear the Turbo spooling a lot more, I'll try and run some logs soon to see if the airflow has increased by much

makes it sound so much better dont it. but i think that cone is a little to small for the space that it is left in when the airbox is out,so if you decide to get one larger would probally be a better idea and it will probally give even better airflow although i might be wrong.

It's the one recomended for the LCR so size wise it should be Ok, If I keep it on I might get a spacer to push it into the wing a bit more.

At last you have got rid of that shite air box , get a decent feed to it and lap up the noise and see how much better it pulls

I'm still useing the 3" feed that I had going to the airbox, I might run it down to the fog light though.

I'm also going to look at makeing a "Jabba" style heat shield, probably out of carbon fibre [B)]

That will look awesome but can I suggest you get an apexi filter 140423968650 (eBay)

as it's black and doesn't stand out as much as the blue in your black and carbon clad bay , same one as maz I have seen them for 80 quid but it's just waiting till they list it at that price or look in the forsale section now there is one for 80 ;)

What's the technical reason for changing the airbox to a cone filter Daz?
