Thanks for the pictures Mylo ;)
I think my arch's need a clean again

I agree, they are the nuts in the dry....but in the wet they're LETHAL!

Especially with hybrid Ibiza power anyway. I really regretted buying those tyres. Wont be buying them again when the Golf needs some. :(

See I don't think there bad in the wet , obv you can't drive as quick as you would in the dry but that's just common sense,

I've found the Yoko's pretty good in the wet so far, in the dry they are brilliant

I dont even drive that quick in the dry around the twisties! I remember putting my boot down to overtake a car once and I got upside it and it just lit the tyres up! I ended up hardly getting past them.

And another time when they span up at 90mph!! Maybe cos the Leon is a longer wheelbase??? But they were certainly crap on my Ibiza.

I'm loving your car DK, lots of nice little personal touches, you certainly aren't scared of a bit of carbon are you? ;)

I look forward to having a good look around your motor at the next AMD rolling road day. I'm thinking of having a go at carbon wrapping my self.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Doc ;)
If you do try wraping start with something very simple as it's pretty tricky to get it right, it's also quite a costly habbit :D

BTW the next AmD RR day is looking like being on the 15 th August

That's good news about the AMD day, I had planned to go to the previous two AMD RRD and each time had something get it the way and i have to cancel at the last minute. Really annoying as i really wanted to go... as they say third time lucky. ;)

Regarding the carbon wrapping i need to do some reading up on it first before i attempt anything. Are there any sources of information you would recommend?

I finish my studies in a few weeks so i'm going to have a lot more spare time on my hands.

I appreciate your help DK, cheers :D

ive got 1 for ya darren have you tried carbon wrapping your dv ?

:D Na mate, it would be quite difficult to get it to look any good, you also need a different type of carbon otherwise the heat turns it yellow, and you would'nt see it under the engine cover ;)
I will be looking at the center caps from the alloy's soon though, should have them done for Inter's
