Not just the close up one thats all. I did the electrical side ages ago and just fitted it after the intercooler was on really easy to do.
Made a small bracket and bent it to hold washer jet.
Drilled a hole in the metal bracket for the tow eye and mounted it on there.
Ran the washer pipe from the jet up to the washer bottle. Drilled the washer bottle spare hole and fitted a polo washer pump.
Made the wsher pipe cum from the pump going upwards to a tpiece thedown to the washer jet and the tpieced bit off into the top of the bottle. This stops it from syphoning out the whole bottle. Ill try and get some more pics tomorrow and show you.
Lol now that you mention it ive never tired it to be honest, was just going to wait until i vagcom it to see when the best time to use it would be ie after a full boost run or in traffic in heat soak
Good point, i suppose the best idea would have been to mount a seperated cooled tank and fit mist jets and use a really high powered pump to create greater pressure to spray the water out but thats all money on something which isnt exactly proven to do that much in the way of cooling, yes granted alittle bit but nothing drastic so i cant justify spending that sort of money on a sophisticated system, this was cheap and easy to do plus keep people wondering y the hell is there water sprayin over the front of his car lol P
a bloke that i know has got a tommy makkinen edition evo......his came with the water spray from standard so im led to believe, apparantly it works very well but ive never asked him if its in a seperate tank??.....i would imagine it is though.
Cant remember from the scooby at work i never really looked but i do know that the water spray jets wernt no where near as a fine mist as the mondeo rear washer jet. Plus imo it does look pretty cool and the way ive mounted it is different which i like.
