All though there is a growing claims culture, if you sue him then it won't make any difference to him will it? After all a claim is a claim whether it's for a small dent or a car.

If it has cost you money through lost earnings you should do it. Don't expect much though. My sister was run over while on the pavement by someone like our corsa driver here, managed to loose control in worcester city centre. First thing she knew about it was when she woke up in hopital the next morning. He spent the entire time in court sobbing his eyes out. She got £1300 which included lost earnings, the clothes they cut off in hospital and injuries. :censored: joke.
Thats Harsh.

what a country we live in huh:shrug:

Agree with the insurance.....don't claim, mines is high enough already!!

Unfortunately one person or even every person on this site not claiming wont make a difference. We all pay into a big pot for these lawsuits, so you might as well makesure you get your chunk back.

If you want premiums to go down get the pricks in their Corsa's to drive properly, alternatively get them to derestrict the motorways so we can all have our speed thrills on there where its straight and safer. Works for the Germans.

As for a 1.4 being £2500 who are you with??!! its £288 for mine :)

I would say that if it has genuinely hurt you or cost you money then yes claim. Back to the accident - the one thing that occurred to me is - were all his mods declared? If not he is really going to be up a certain creek without any rowing implements!

Ok an update;

No one has claimed we all just scare him with it all the time.
I pulled the radio out to turn it off.
The mods weren’t declared but insurance just looked past them
He kept making up stories about how he was going to getthe car back, they were fixing it, his dad was going to fix it himself etc,

Then he kept saying every other day he might buy a……….etc.

Yesterday he went to get some of the stuff from the car like speakers and stuff. But yesterday the insurance finally wrote it off but somehow he reckons he is going to get

£4500

For the car which is the daftest thing I have heard. So we will wait and see what happens and I will keep u guys updated
