Done and dusted. I'm still to neaten up a couple of small areas, however any critiques are welcome.

Looks good apart from the steering wheel controls lol. How did you 'fold' the vinyl back behind between the rear window and the back of the b pillar? or did you just stop at the edge?

That looks good bud, you also have the 'wide angle' mirror on your passenger mirror like i do ahah! Looks real good mate i'm gonna have to do this soon. Does rain etc. affect the Di-Noc?

Cheers :)

I cut 2-3mm from the edge of the vinyl, then used the hairdryer to heat the panel and vinyl. Then slightly pulled back the panel 1mm ish and used the blunt side of a knife to push the vinyl round and to the back of the panel.

No idea... Never used it on the exterior before... I bloody hope it doesn't!

I've seen other people use it on panels before, and has lasted ages. Only seen one guy say his mirror caps peeled after a few months, but I guess it's all to do with how you wrap/secure it.

I am considering taping the inside edges to reduce the effect of peeling in the long term..

Still think you should do a guide for us all ;) IF you can find something else to wrap that is ;)

On a more serious note, let us know how you get on with the exterior because those mirrors look the s%^t! Well done mate & Keep up the good work :)

It's really easy to do :p

For the centre console, remove the headunit and lower tray. There are 2 torx screws either side, and one on the top. Once removed, take the 2 screws out on the reverse of the console, which connect the cup holder and hazard light switch.

Lay the material on top, heat it up with a hairdryer, stretch round the corners and trim the edges. Easy :p

Okay so I just filled her up to the brim with petrol. I'm going to drive very calmly and low revs for this tankful to see how much my MPG differs... I hate having no MPG trip!

I'm trying to estimate the MPG. Currently I get 300 miles from a tank. I think a tank is 45L, however reckon I play it safe and only use 43L.

At 43L (9.46 imperial gallons) and 300 miles, I'm getting roughly 31-32mpg. I town drive (5-6mile journeys) 2-4 times per day. Has anyone else got MPG figures to compare?

I tried that in my old 1.4 and oh how painfull it was! Managed to get 440 miles from a vented tank till the trip said '5' miles left. That was half motorway, half b roads.
