Hi all would the 1. 20VT engine BAM take this oil? its 0w40 or does it have to be 10w40?

Hi all would the 1. 20VT engine BAM take this oil? its 0w40 or does it have to be 10w40?

I use EDGE Sport 0W-40. It has VW 505.00 qualification, while 10W-60 has not.

I was thinking about going for Seats Quantum Synta Gold is this just as good?

5W 30W is the recommended but I suppose you can use the 0W version.
Just make sure it is the VAG one with 505 etc..

I went for 5 Litres of Quantum Synta Gold from Seat - says its specifically designed for Turbo Engines and has all them stamps on it. They also gave me £5 off as a returning customer discount which made it £28! inc VAT which is cheaper than Edge, Magnatec and GTX. So im happy lol
