Carista app - Android

Thanks, so I will give that one a try.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2 running Android 4.4.4, I have another S2 running 5 which I was going to try and I could have a try with my girlfriend's Galaxy S4.

ive tried a few different adapters and the first one i bought let me scan for faults and was about to let me customise then second time i went to use it, it would say that my vehicle is not compatible. just received one today which only let me scan for faults, when i went to cutomise it just said the adapter was faulty. going to give the one in the link above a try and shall report back!

Just received the adapter in the link above and when used with the full version of carista it works superb! Can read/clear faults and the customisation menu is awesome and works brilliantly!

Coincidentally the blue with LED http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00EXPJHIY arrived for me today also, not yet tried it but sounds as if it doesn't work then it is me.

Ive turned the seatbelt warning beep off ( beeps if you carry anything on the passenger seat) ive turned on the leaving home light feature, changed the duration of the coming home lights. I just had a quick scan through will have a more thorough look when i get chance but all seems good so far!!

Try the beep when locking/unlocking via remote, that's pretty amusing.

One word for this app - brilliant!

I bought the app today and it worked straight away. Set up the needle swoosh and adjusted a few other settings. Perfect!

It's still in development and I believe they are still bringing out more VAG adjustments.

Staging is only available on facelift models so if yours is pre 2009 you are out luck. Like me...

I bought Bluetooth ELM327 ODB II from e bay for £5 and have been using it with Torque and is working fine I also been testing it with Carista free version and also working fine on my Altea 2011 DSG 1.6 Diesel.

Anyone know if the full version will work with my setup?

I am having problems with VCDS and would prefer to use with my phone (galaxy note 3) and not my laptop.

anyone confirm so i can sell the VCDS cables and get the full app of Carista?

Carista should work, but is very limited compared to VCDS. I would keep your cables.
