Carbon canister removal

I want its home for a cold air feed so it has to go.

What do I need to do with the pipes? Block the one to the intake and point the one that looks like its coming from the tank to the ground?

I only found one thread relaiting to the mk2, lots on the mk3.......see I did search :p

Im not sure about plumbing the two pipes together, at full chat theres going to be a good ole bit of vacuum at the inlet.

Dont look all that heavy Dave, just clears a nice bit of space.

i had it with my G60 when the engine was on a crate, it didnt even get to see the car. just bung up anything that doesnt have a connection, bobs your uncle and fanny is definatly your aunt.

except the tank breather stick a mini engine breather filter on that one, funnily enough dont seem to have one on the golf?! which is confussing.
