do u have a front mounted intercooler? cos i assume that the filter is where the smic would be, as theres about as much room down there as inside a chicken. cant of been easy to fit either

guessing by the look of the intercooler hose u havent got an fmic...thats unbelievable!

i know its bloody tight, when i started fitting it even i wasnt ure if it would fit! the filter sits right down in the front bumper. fitting it wasnt easy in order to get the filter on the end of the pipe i had to take the wheel off and pull the arch liner back!

am i the only 1 with one of these on a ibiiza then?

Think you might be the only person with a Carbonio, altho some people have got similar filters once they've fitted a FMIC.

Pipework is easy.

Jonzy: you could submerge the carbonio filters up to a 1/3 in water and still work properly

I agree with Andy but i'd not want to test the theory on my car

I had an AEM CAI V2 on my old Civic VTi...I avoided big puddles and fords and stuff, the only issue I had was having to contantly clean the air filter because it got very dirty very quickly

Forbez :- i got it off a mate of mine , it came off a golf mk4, it sounds wicked makes the turbo really whistle and also when u let off u get quite a loud whoosh from the dv!

Awesome Andy :- i have still got the side mounted intercooler, its quite tight down there tho!

Jonzy : - i have got a green cotten filter on the end, the 1 thats for the 20vt. the filter comes off the pipe at a bit of a angle which helps, as for water it doesnt really get that wet plus it water wouldnnt be suck that far up the pipe! i just have to watch out for puddles!

from looking in the past tho i swore there was no way it'd fit!
