Finally the long wait is over. Ordered 10th August, arrived on trailer today 14th December. Bought not leased. Cupra mats included!

Congrats on the new car, you must feel so relieved for the wait to be finally over, now get out there and enjoy her (and get us some pics! :D ). Glad the car has the mats in it as well!

Congrats to the others that got theirs today :)

Mine arrived just after 10am as promised :D

Very happy so far although I have only done a few miles, I have just spent the morning washing it and its now in the garage waiting for sealant and waxing.

The car did come with mats in the boot although they are plain black, no white edge or cupra logo but they will do :)

As requested they hadnt washed or cleaned it at all, sad i know but i wanted to do it all myself.

I'll get some pics up later today / tomorrow when i finished cleaning it.

And I thought I could get a bit OCD about cleaning my cars! lol
Congrats on the new car (and mats!), hope tomorrow's weather holds out for the full detail!

When did you receive your finance papers? I received mine yesterday and posted them back the same day with next day delivery, and I could really do with having the car by the 23rd at the latest
I went to the dealership on Monday to sign them.... Just been out (again) in it.... It's a beast.

It's been a long wait but totally worth it! ACC works really well with the Dsg box.

I'll get some pictures posted once the smile has gone from my face

I feel like a right sad arse now lol, only done about 4 miles in the car so far. I dropped the delivery guy off at the station and went for a blast down the dual carriageway then stopped to fill it on with some super and went home.

Spent the rest of the day cleaning it, just gotta wax it tomorrow then ill be going out for most of the afternoon :) ill get some pics before i go and make it all dirty.

For that brief blast up and down the dual carriageway earlier it was pretty rapid :) even without really pushing it.

Picked up the Leon today from IMG at Warrington (thanks Phil! :) ) on one of the cheap lease deals.

Its for the wife really, she likes it so everyone is happy. :D
Seems to ride pretty well on the 19's, goes ok as well but taking it easy as obviously new.....just doesn't sound as good as my M135i! ;)

Some quick pics of the car (excuse the messy garage) :)

This was just after i got it washed, sealed and waxed on Thursday and just before it started raining the rest of the day :(

Loving the car so far, I am actually going to run it in as the manual suggests for the first 1k miles but even at 2/3's it just goes in to license losing speeds quite quickly while putting a smile on your face.

Having the power to overtaken again is so nice :D i dont have to sit behind the lovely people that do 38mph in a 60 anymore. I am half way through the full tank though and i havnet done that many miles, bit over 100 i think but who cares :)

The DSG is just excellent, I'm glad i didnt go for the manual now, I dont mind the stop start but i wish it gave it a bit more time before it switched off, seems like you hardly stop and the engine has switched off.

I have tried Cupra mode and im not sure about the fake sound yet, the exhaust just seems far too quiet at the moment.

Nice car mate. I've done over 2.5k miles in mine now. Apart from some dozy so and so running into the back of it, I've been really chuffed. There are so many options to keep you entertained with the DSG as well. I'm not buying a manual again.

Running in to the back of it?! :-o did they do much damage?

I quite like using the paddles to take it down to 3rd to overtake :) the bucket seats are great.

Only few things i wish were a bit different - the handbrake, the placement of the cup holders and another usb port to connect the phone somewhere other than the centre console.

I have managed to stick my brodit mount in there at the moment to put the iphone in because i dont want cables trailing around, being a 7Plus its too big to just sit in that space and not go flying every time i pull away.

Just the bumper had to be repaired and sprayed, plus a new splitter and number plate. I was stationary when he just clattered into me. One of those things. At least he was insured. I was tense about them getting the paint match more than anything, but they've done a good job. The most irritating thing is that they've screwed the new plate on instead of sticky pads like the front one. It was a bad week that week. I had to have Autoglass out the day before as I got a massive chip in the screen (20p size)!

Feel your pain with the plate too, at least it won't drop off..... but a pain when washing and not a smooth plate...
