Hi! I just want to check if the Ibiza needs a special brake wind back tool?

I want to buy one (to make my life easy) - ideally I'll be able to use it on my other vehicles too?

Anyone fancy recommending one?

I bought a whole set of tools for all makes, when I really needed the tools, as the shop only had a full set. It defiantly makes things easier if you have one. I'm sure any decent motor shop will have a descent set.

The one iv got for my cupra, which i believe is for all seats, has a pad shaped plate and a disc on the end of the wind in tool, so just pushed the piston back in, as the plate is wedged against the caliper. The whole set cost me about 70 quid so I reckon 20 quid for just a seat one.

Yeah - I keep getting that message - but I find the G-cramp slips off or otherwise annoys me and I'm scared of damaging the face of the pistons with the big pliers.

I should get over it :)

Me too, I went for the Halfords one. I did find too much pressure could jam things up, but as long as you apply a decent amount of pressure as you wind it in then it works fine. It just needs a bit of a 'knack', the second one will take 10% of the time you use on the first!

LOL. Did you just have them pictures lying around?

Anyway it`s called improvisation.
