Well the fronts are done now and I have applied the last coat of lacquer on the Handles and door pins. Really excited about getting them in. Does anyone know anywhere I can buy/get some black mats with green edges made up ?

After pulling the skin off my knuckles, they are finally in ! Took some time to destroy an old set of doorcards to get all the holding clips in as well, so no knocks or rattling around which, is lovely !

I have some black plastics to cover the lower half.

Just bear in mind not to spread the glue too thick, work from the middle outwards, use a hairdryer to warm the vinyl to stretch around difficult areas, leave for a few days before fitting into your car (to allow glue to settle and fumes to wear off) and bear in mind that the vinyl makes for a tight fit on handles etc when fitting them back on.

Hmmmm ..... well the car had her cambelt and waterpump changed yesterday. The waterpump itself had seem better days but, it now looks like the thermostat housing has cracked :( I managed to get around to replacing the bulbs on the 3rd brake light, sorted out the problem that I had with the rear washer jet - the hose has worked its way loose and I managed to change the rear wiper blade. All frightfully exciting but, its amazing what you can get done when your off work sick and bored.

Wrapped the roof this week and did a few extra bits to tidy the wee green beastie up.

I can honestly say that taking the Aerial on and off is worse than having a root canal done at the dentist without any anaesthetic !

Also did the B Pillars to tidy them up a little - it doesn't show up very well in the picture.

Finally got my dice attached to my doorpins !!!

So much still to do but, I'm going to give it a rest and start again after my holiday in November.

I'm really pleased ! Seems to accentuate the lovely metallic green paintwork and also deter seagulls which, is a bonus around here !! Its been another constructive day off work ;) I had some insane quotes to wrap the roof, one company quoted £165 ! I bought the wrap from the net for £30 and tried finding somewhere to fit it for me - gave up in the end and did it myself as the best quote there was £105. So all in all the roof and pillars cost me £30. Think the headlining may have to wait as I discovered Thursday - its a PITA to remove !

Thank for all your nice comments. It may not have a big impressive all powerful engine, shiny alloys or perfect bodywork but, it still puts a smile on my face.
