Viv looks really good Boo! Love the vinyl too - I've gone for a few bits of satin black, but I'd never have managed a roof - good on you and your dad :D

Im quite happy with the way she sits and although stance is a huge deal for some people, I have a huge speedbump to get over at work.

Same here - ours can park next to each other at Edition and be the 'We-can-still-clear-speedbumps' possey! Hehe

Thanks Nic :D Was alot more labour intensive that I initially thought which, could explain that once it was laid down my dad buggered off to 'Watch the Football' when he doesn't even like football !!

did you have any trouble with your aerial or did you take off the base?

I took it off and also gave it a bit of a spray up at the same time as it looked really faded aganist the shiny roof. I will need to get a new one at some point because the thread inside has gone.

Oooooh Im dead flattered Owen. Its funny you say that though because a taxi driver followed me to Tesco today and asked to have a look at my car because his daughter was looking at buying one.

Not sure I can have HID's though because of my headlights not having clear lenses ? If anyone can ellaborate or confirm this, I would be very grateful.

H4's I think. If thats what you mean. Will the light projected not bend everywhere though ?

The light's projected more or less the same as normal halogen lamps... if your not sure, I've got some H4 3000k hids (really yellow, and really bright) coming to me for a friend. Once I've worked out how to wire them up, I could pop down one evening and trial them, if you want. Save you £60 :)

If you are worried about the hids I can get you a picture of mine in my mk2 Ibiza and they are aligned properly and passed my MOT in August. The ones I have are 4300k.

Ive got a set of bi-xenon ones and they are great. Although I get some people flashing at me every so often when its dark, but not as bad as when I had a 6000k set of dipped beam only.

I'm not looking for anything crazy bright. I do alot of country road driving in badly lit area's at night and my current lights just don't seem to cut it.

Well, with HIDs, you have a choice of brightness. The higher the number, the dimmer they are. Even so, 'on average, they're 3 times brighter.'

Lower the number, the brighter they are. but brighter doesn't mean you'll get flashed more. Confusing, eh?
