Personally i wouldnt go any lower than 30mm,you can go really low if you want for shows and that but for normal use be it on track or road then around 20-30mm.I wouldnt assume that really lowering the car will make it handle better, you might get a surprise and actually make it handle worse.(it might look better though)Also the splitter is not the lowest point of the car,the sump cover is, and i would be worried about speed bumps and practicality if it was really low.

Well they look good and seem well built, stance is perfect but I've done relatively little mileage (600 miles) so far and they seem to be a little sharp rebounding off big bumps (speed bumps) the car seems to pogo off them. When going over small bumps they seem noisy. Without the radio on they sound like they're moving about alot (not up and down) but I've not had coilovers before and this might be normal as it doesn't affect steering response or seem to be an issue. I might see when I do a bit mileage what they're like but I'm having them looked at soon with the geometry as I have a slight vibe 70+.

I have a weird setup though, arbs front and rear, rear upper brace, studs, 20mm spacers all round, et45 wheels and now the coilovers. I will also be adding a s3 upper soon so it's a bit of a trial and error at the moment :D

The price of these is very good although I am still not sure how I feel about having no dampening adjustment. I had coilovers on my Honda Civic and it was very handy to have the ability to adjust them at the roadside for different road surfaces, ie: more solid on the motorway & softer for daily driving. Having them set too soft on the motorway was awful, especially with all the dips, they felt very bouncy, pogo like. Tightening them up solved this and the car felt very glued to the tarmac.

well i only use my car to go to the gym 3 times during the week (only 2 miles away) and at weekends so its not really a 'daily driver' so im not too fussed about speed bumps etc as i want to go lower than 30mm
