For a quick wash I rinse the car off with rainwater. Leaves no hard water stains and one less stage of drying off with risk of swirls. Comments?

I used it on my entire car when it arrived and the whole car bled from the railways lol....I had the wheels off yesterday and used the fallout remover, washed, polished and waxed....

For my Leon I use citrus pre wash , same as snow foam but more effective imo , wash with Af lather.

Protection -AF desire wax (lasts 8-12 months as a daily) , gyeon trim permanent - which given the amount of trim on the Cupra is a god send as I could be bothered applying that all the time, alloys- gyechniq wheel armour - last 1-2 years from a single application , tyres AG tyre dressing , lasts a few weeks. Glass Gtechniq g1&g2 - lasts 20k miles / 2 years

It depends what you want to spend - the long lasting or permanent products are expensive but work out better value and you don't spend each weekend applying them. I use a wax which does need to be applied every 6 months as I've found out but a sealant will be longer lasting. If you want the best longevity Gtechniq do a sealant called crystal serum light and exo combo which is reported to last 5 years so that will be an apply once for each car you own type product. It also has very good swirl resistance - not the easiest to apply tho. Either way car cleanings pricey

Try Autosmart they make a wide range of products and are available on ebay. Autosmart is cheaper than Autoglym but just as good and you get more for your money. Their G101 is a great all round cleaner, use it for interior & exterior, try tardis for tar removal it really works.

I also use Boora Zonax Carnauba wax, great polish that is easy to apply and no powder residue. Makes future cleaning a lot easier.
