LOL, timothy, timothy, timothy.

You are one stupid small man.

The wife was upstairs when the DP was on the coffee table so she don't know. Mind she keeps banging her feet on my mates flywheel and clutch that he left here.

As for the welding, its top notch, all Tig welded. mark showed me round his garage / engineering workshop at home, its simply mind boogling what he can do.

Today i got the smaller 10 row oil cooler.

This one fits.

mr matt....are you running gaskets on your Dp flanges? if so what ones!?

mine spat all the gaskets out to start with so not running any now but i may try a copper gasket as it leaks when cold at mo and if i can stop it id like to...if not its no biggy. just wondered what you were planning on

Manifold - turbo is face fit, ( no gasket )
Turbo - first DP section face fit ( no gasket )
1st DP - 2nd section has a gasket

Will see how it goes, like you say, it will probably blow when its cold but the turbo will be a **** to remove in situ, so would rather run without.

Anyone thought of lapping the faces of the DP to turbo so you get a proper fit?
Would this be possible?
This would solve any gasket spitting problems

Usually the faces where both sides are 'cast' require no gasket, stainless usually does due to the sheer amount the stuff moves when heated
