the other week I took I drove a couple of friends in my car to a party, she was happily sitting in the back and he was complimenting the car and I went through what extras it has and how much it cost.

We stopped at a cashpoint, he got out and when he returned said that the two ppl behind commented on my car but was not sure if they would pay £26k for one.....if only they knew ;)

You're not the only Leon driver to get all the glory! :p

I use to get loads when I first got my Mk II Sport early 2006, a year ago Leons were really rare around London and whenever you drove it on the roads you would get stares and comments!

Obviously with more Leons on the roads these days and it being an old model (ie not brand spanking new), ppl stare at the car less.......

In fact one of the reasons I traded my old Sport in for an FR is because I wanted to re-join the unique crew....
(I would have gone for a Cupra if they had one in diesel....... petrol kills my wallet due to the miles I do!)

Yup, positive comments all the time, along with people snapping it on phones.

Black Magic BTCC car btw.

A girl and her Dad walking through a car park in Middlesbrough the other day, stopped and she started explaining about the bodykit, exhaust etc etc. I was walking towards the car having finished on site and blipped the alarm!

My wife was in a retail park and came back to the car to find a guy just standing about 8' away, just staring at it. She got in and drove off and he just smiled and walked away.

A customer today was telling me he was a big fan of the Leons and was asking if it was a TFSI or a TDI 170 he was asking me this as I drooled over his A4 2.0T Quattro DTM Edition :)

The blokes at the hand car wash kept me talking for about ten minutes too, apparently the boss of it is now planning on trading his A6 in for one!
