Bigbadjay...got them from eBay! (Headlights)....where did you see the DRLs? Was it a Silver btcc way up north Scotland?

Tarek..any chance of the same photo during the day as the flash is reflection off the headlight. As for the cable location, I don't think this is the one as it looks like its just above the pedals. Assuming yours is the same as the uk car it's directly below the headlight switch in line with the side dash panel. I'll take a photo tomorrow!

I'm hopefully going to take a picture for you tomorrow morning.

I went back down because I forgot something in the car and I took the opportunity to capture another photo:

Is this what you're talking about? It's directly below the headlight switch and inline with the side dash panel, I suppose.

Sorry dude been working all day, this week was very busy so didn't have much time on forums =[
The lights look really good mate! Although I would much rather pay someone to do me a set of retrofits considering I don't have much time =[

Haven't even got around to wrapping my badges lol
Need to try make time because ATM the vinyl is just in my bedroom starring at me haha

Sorry, my mistake! I was thinking it was black but that's the cable I plug in! There are loads of guides in the web on how to use the cable so you shouldn't have any problems!

The Drift King watermark is the name of my friend's store, he's the one who got and installed the head light units for me.

What do you guys think? Retrofitting is awesome and a nice experience, and I truly loved how it looked, but at the same time I did not like the quality at all and that's because of the guy I gave my head lights to who screwed them up big time, especially in the resealing part and lens alignment. I was really annoyed with the errors, screwed up alignment, some rings being yellower/weaker than others, etc. so I just decided I'd buy the Dectane head lights and try fixing the retro-fitted head lights myself.

The new lights do look good and as you know we've chatted about your projector retrofit ones so take them apart and have a go. As Bigbadjay says, take some photos of the inside when you pull them apart!

I sure will, dude. We've been having issues with the administration in my university and classes were suspended for the past two weeks, that's why I've been all over this head lights thing. We're resuming classes on Wednesday and will have to take make-up classes along with the normal scheduled ones, so this is going to be one busy semester. I'm going to see if I'll have a couple of days off and see what I can do about the retrofit.

Thank you for the comments and I truly am in love with the Dectane ones. The cutoff and alignment are also beautiful, I had 5000K bulbs installed instead of 6000K ones so it would give me a more white cut off than blue one.

Aw I am sorry, mate. :D

I don't understand why Dectane, a European company, doesn't make RHD head light units when some countries in Europe have a lot of RHD cars. I must say, though, they are amazing in terms of quality. I was hesitant about the LEDs and stuff at first, but they're not as bright as I thought they would be, but they dim at night which is pretty awesome and they themselves look pretty good rather than over-the-top or anything.

The lenses are also beautiful when lit up, especially since the head light units are black, and they have this great beam cutoff. The only problem is that the unit I received doesn't work with electronic adjustment, but there are allen keys that you can easily use to align. They really needed no alignment at any case.

Have a go at rob day is it!....I'll put that in my calendar for next year! :D

Just to put a spanner in the works.....I suspect that the Dectane's could be modified for the UK as it's only the deflector within the projector which needs adjusting. Basically you either open up the lights and replace with a retrofit one (piece of metal cut to the right shape...easy as a piece of coke can will work) so that the light cut off is the other side. No need to change the full beam as this is the same on all cars (checked via MOT guidelines etc.)

Couldnt you swap the projector over? But means removing 2 light covers

No mate, doesn't quite work like that as the insides of the projector are identical so swapping them over wouldn't make any difference. It would be a fairly simple job to do as long as the projectors can be opened which in most cases is yes as they are just screwed together.
