anti roll bar knock?

not had my leon long but have started to notice a knocking noise front the front from either side when going over bumps just on one side. so if i go over a speed bump it doesnt knock, just when the wheels are doing different things so im certain its antiroll bar.

ive been told the plastic colars next to the bushes crack allowing the bar to move side to side causing a knock. also got told the newer antiroll bar has metal colars?

is this true?

has anyone changed the antiroll bars for this issue?

Do a visual check, I have the looped ARB (23mm) and 1 of the plastic droplinks cracked. You can swap them for metal versions without issue.

When you lower the car "too far" you need to upgrade the ARB for big loop version of another version which let them under the drive shafts.

Had a quick check under and the drop link look OK but I've not had on a ramp yet. I will be doing soon as I'm removed the sai pump so will check the roof bar then. But the guy told me it's collars on the roll bar itself that sit right next to the bushes that split not the drop link. I know the drop link is another common fault but mine look OK.

Also car is on standard suspension I'm not planned on dropping it yet and even if I do it will be 20-30mm I don't like loosing too much ride quality.

My ARB does not have these collars you speak of. Only my Whiteline Rear ARB has these.

The guy that told me that may have must agent it for the rear arb thanks. Is that an uprated arb?

When i get it on a ramp if I can't see anything I'll just change the drop link for the same of what they cost
