the best Ive had from my 1.6 is 250miles a tank!! I think I need a turbo!

It's not so much keeping under certain RPM's (for me anyway) I have to keep under 10inHg vacuum to get any sort of decent MPG -- it's quite easy on the motorway but in stop-start it's a lot harder!

i do exactly the same! thats what i look at to keep my MPG good. between 10 and 20 usually though

can be difficult to do, especially on the roads i commute on, twisty A roads, with lots of trucks, and not much room for overtaking on

I drove on 0 miles for about 15 miles after before it ran out mate, did you not see top gear on the weekend. dont believe the computers lol

I wouldn't rely on that...in my cupra it said 10 miles left and I ran out!!

the computer is constantly trying to recalculate how many miles you have left according to the way that your currently driving...

so with your foot on the floor you may only get 30 miles, whilst when your coasting along you could get 80 mile
