i have put some fox racing multispoke alloys on my mk2 1995 gti 8v the bolt holes line up sound, but the flange on the hub is too small so the alloy doesnt actually sit on it, it floats. this means its almost impossible to get it on central, anyone know where i can buy a set of 4, and do i have to start measuring the flange on the inner alloy diameter to get them made up?

any alloy wheel place should be able to sort you out. these are generally an off the shelf thing unless your alloys are really old/odd.

yeh i have been around, spigot rings is correct.. i have found these things are made to order, other wise they would have self hundreds of alloy/car combinations. the easiest i found was good old halfords , £20 orderd in. until then i just kinda tightend each bolt evenly, just did 70ish on the way home felt alot better :D

you do know that driving with the wheels not placed on the hubs and hanging on by the bolts is suicide don't you?

The bolts are carrying a load that the hub normally carries.......the bolts could snap at any point, the wheel falling off won't be nice at 70 on the motorway.....and not just nasty for you

your better keeping the wheels that fit on until you get the proper srigot rings
