Did you drill your box?

Yeah, about 20 holes in the middle of the bottom part. When its idling theres a nice low rumble and at 2500-3000 revs its sound great. Its like i've put on a new exhaust!

Been driving it a bit over the weekend and it might feel a little more responsive but that could just be wishfull thinking.

I'm looking at doing this - where did everyone get their cold air feeds from? I've seen some 3" ones on ebay but they come in different lengths (300mm, 500mm and 1mtr). How long does it need to be, roughly?

I finally did mine yesterday...however the drill that took the 16mm bit didn't work...and the only other bit I had was 6mm for the mini drill that did work.

I didn't notice much of a change in sound really...so I think I'm gonna have to get a 10mm bit and redo the holes, and add some more to the sides.

Also notice you didn't put any holes in the far left...is there a reason for that?

My air feed only went as far as the battery as it didn't fit any further. Is this as far as yours went? Did you leave the sort of plastic socket thing for the oem air feed on? Behind the headlight cover that the battery cover slots into.

The feed pipe will only go as far as the back of the head light unless you have the relocation bracket's to move the battery over.
When you say left hand side do you mean the side next to the engine ? if so I did'nt drill that side cos I thought it would be more likely to suck in warmer air.
I did take out the plastic bit that hold the old pipe in place, it's a bugger to get out and I ended up snaping mine to get it out.
