Updatings
Started taking my car apart for the US bump strip
Started cutting the bump strip up to get it to fit using a hack saw (I was also slightly tipsy), slipped and cut my finger open so fixed it with ducktape
Fitted
Then started prepping/filling the bumper, still got a fair bit to do. Some pics from a local meet.

Got the remap and Decat done! Feels/sounds brilliant! Did have to raise the car 2 inches, only just cleared the rollers...
The car was pushing 96.9 on the first run! Was quite surprised, at the end of the day it achieved 123.2bhp and 306Nm torque

I have been having a looking at the Fabia VRS's for a while now.
Cheers Craig. The Uk strip has a recess in (can see it in the pic below), whereas the US plate doesn't, is smooth all the way across and has the side lights.
The bumper doesn't have a plate recess, just that it's got marks and holes where the plate used to be. I've been sanding and filling in them in so it'll look nice and fresh when sprayed! The US strip will be getting colour coded when the front end gets resprayed!
Yeah it's not that bad
it's Gavin's (gac on here), a dirty diesel pushing around 200-210bhp, not to shabby!
