Mk5 Golf is 5x112
6j Ibiza is 5x100 is it not? In which case you wouldn't be able to use the discs.

Yes - correct
calipers & carriers & pipes will work - discs are only cheap

And if you are good enough with a small die grinder - the bolt holes can be elongated to work on 110 x 5

You can do a couple of easy checks before you go ripping anything apart just to settle your mind.

1. Do the golf brakes and the Ibiza brakes LOOK very similar ?
2. Measure the distance between the mounting holes for the carrier - do the Ibiza and golf ones match ?

You will not regret the 312mm upgrade - did it on my 2.0TDi.

The 312 is the setup that should have been on the car from the factory.

Even more so with the Brembo HP2000 brake pads I added at the same time.

so...
anyone can share the part number for the hubs to use any other calipers that aren't the FSIII?

Don't know part number but

Drivers side here

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-IBIZ...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27edf00341

Passenger side here

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SEAT-IBIZ...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c476b9463

And for comparison - here is the FSIII version - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2009-Seat...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4adf76f6f5

Note the two arms sticking out from the hub.

Thanks mate

I think I found the part numbers

6Q0407255S Left
6Q0407256S Right

and according to ETKA, they use the same hub, arms, tie rods and everything should bolt on, which makes it easier to just scavenge the carriers, calipers and discs on the junkyard

Guys, mkv (5) golf 312s will not fit, you need a mk4 platform setup. Your wasting your time if you try to fit the mk5 setup.

I have 2 mk4 312 sets I can build kits with if anybody is interested, for those with bigger budgets 312porsche 4 pot and 323mm lcr brembos

PM'ED YOU!

ATTENTION!!

You don't need Mk1 S3 or TT calipers to fit 312 mm disc anymore.
2013 Polo GTI's and Audi A1's have 312 mm disc.
You can buy a 2013 GTI caliper carrier and use your 2011 ibiza cupra/boc caliper on 312 mm disc.

My Mrs has a new A1 are you saying i could steal the brakes from hers?
