hello all .... for the last few weeks my clutch has been draggin and refusing to go into gear now and again .. i thort it was the cluctch soo toook it to seat and they checked it out for me and found out that it wasnt the clutch is was the pedal box (:confused:) apperntly its cracked and split...

I was wondering whether the 6 speed box improves performance at all? or whether its stronger and can handle the extra power better? I assume they are easy fits as they are on the ibiza cupra R??

What's the 2.0tdi sport dsg like towing? We used to caravan some years ago and are thinking of doing so again. Any particular quirks - and do you need additional oil cooling?

Hi, Picked up my new FR DSG 08 last week and love it! One question though - I know the engine needs a good running in period but should the DSG box feel really smooth when changing up/down in normal D mode? Mine feels a little cluncky at times and i didnt expect to feel the gears...

On saturday i got in my car and pressed to clutch before i started it, The clutch made a loud clunk and hit the floor, i thought the clutch pedal had snapped again but the brake had raised about 3-4 inches about normal height! Anyone else had this? Im going to try and solve it now

well, just bought a new head unit cos the one that came with the car didnt work, plus it was crappy anyway, fitted it and this one didnt switch on either mabey the fuse has blown i thought, so checking the fuse box found that,no, its fine but the fuse for the cigarette lighter has blown.... hang...

i am havein a bit of a prob with my 1.6 wen in ideal there is a funny tapping noise but wen i dig th clutch it stops if i let it back up it starts again. any ideas?
