hello folks need an answer soon so i can get deal, i currently have a dpt box fitted to my pumpe duse 2.0 tdi 140 leon (56 2006)... can this be used on a new common rail diesel engine or do i have to purchase a brand new box

total time: app 8 hrs clutch now back to normal :) most hassle was with wiring plugs! fingers like sausages don't help. managed to do without taking shear bolts out:D as per usual doing one job means loads more.... air bag light steering column doesn't feel as tight, slight play...

Ok maybe silly question... I'm curious where it is, says in the manual that it's under the steering wheel on right side which has a hole. I'v tried pulling it but doesn't wanna seem to come off. Is there screws holding the cover or is it somewhere else on the car like being in the glovebox...

Right i have a 2.0 8v AGG and i am wondering if anyone knows what the black box ontop of the rocker cover is? it has two pipes coming from it. I think IMO that its some sort of oil breather but im looking for confirmation. Thanks, Chris

Hello, I've got a 1.9TDI stylance sport, its got ths standard single pipe exhaust. But I bagged myself a nearly new FR backbox for a £10. But I just thought, is there a different backbox for the petrol and diesel models?

Could the famous faulty fuse (furthest to the right) cause coolant temp to rise if fans don't kick in while cruising at say 70 mph I'm not talking AC ON . Just cruising at normal speeds and not caning it. I'm on my way to do a bypass to those fuses . I've had enough of them [:@]

Spent a few hours this weekend fitting a THS TIP. Would of been a lot quicker but I spent ages trying to align the TIP but it just wont reach the air box. It is to short by around 25-30mm, if you include the MAF housing I'd say it was around 40-50mm short. Has anyone else experienced this...

hi peps could any 1 help me with my ibiza 2.0 16v cupra gear box as i seem to have all most lost 2nd and 4th gear. ihad a look at the at the gear linkage but it a cable linkage so dont know wot to look for now as im not known around these cars
