My myo7 altea has been in the garage because when i set the alarm with the windows down and then put my arm in, the alarm does not sound. Even sat in the car with the alarm set and moving about the alarm does not sound. However when i open the car door from inside with the alarm set...it...

I have an 08 altea XL and have 2 young children. What I want to be able to do is lock the car if i go to the shops leaving the children inside but not have the alarm go off? Any ideas what i can do to make this happen? David

Went to a meet last night, and to say it was a little noisey would be an understatement. Anyway, due to the bass levels around us, my alarm must have gone off 7 or so times. It meant in the end, I left the car unlocked and hoped no-one decided to take a peak inside whilst I was away from it...

My alarm went off at 2am last night for no apparent reason. Today I noticed an intermittently and partially illuminated red boot warning sign. When I put my side lights on, the above warning light went out..... I called W Livingstone and they are checking it out tomorrow for a door locking...

Came home after 4 weeks away to find alarm LED on door not flashing - so not sure whether armed. Car opened, started ok and when closed, alarm LED is now flashing again. Is this indicative of a low battery?

I bought myself one of those fake alarm flashing LEDs and I'm not to sure how to install it There are 2 wires which I must wire one up to a constant 12v and the other wire to something else so it only flashes when the car is off Has anyone ever wired one up before?? I'm stuck!!
