Why is the alarm light on the passenger door? is it because the cars are spanish and therefore left hand drive? My mk1 Leon had it in the drivers door and I could see from my house if the car was locked with a quick glance out of the window. I have now got mk2 Leon and can't see the alarm...

Ive never heard my alarm.....so i wound the window down halfway...locked the car via the fob (the led was flashing) then pulled the door pin by hand and nothing! The led was still flashing when i opened the door. Do you think the previous owner disarmed the siren? Any help greatly appreciated :D

I would like to fit a microwave and shock sensor facility to the car, but if I add an alarm will the stock alarm have to go and is it much good anyway?

Suprisingly enough, i havn't got an alarm on my ibiza, its a 57 plate. Thought all new cars had alarms:shrug: Anyways whats the best alarm around or just any basic one will do. Had previous cars broken into without alarms and seeing as this is a new car, not gona take any chances;) Cheers:D

wondering if anyone can help when bought the car the kid only had one key and no alarm fob so i'v just been using the key which i can live with. but the other out of the blue the alarm when off which it had never done before:confused:' it went off after about 30 seconds and the car started...

what features does the standard alarm have on a leon cupra does it have voltage sensing, impact detection or lift detection or is it just doors and motion detection? cheers John

is the alarm fitted as standard on the mk1 leons. its just i have no idea if i have one or not. if i do have one how do i go about setting it or is it just activated by me locking the car.

Is it possible to add on any other modules to the standard alarm found on the cupra. i.e. ports for additional sensors etc...

We do leave our dog in the car for a while sometimes.... Not for long period but long enough for the alarm to go off if we go shopping or something... Is there a way round it or will I have to tape up the sensor????

i noticed this morning, while i had my sidelights on i got to work turned my engine off and opened the door but no beeping sound to say i left the lights on, im wondering is there a fuss for this?
