Currently in with my insurance company’s garage for 2 brand new OEM alloys and tyres on the front, after a hit n run side-swipe by a Nissan pick-up truck (can't think of the model off-hand) while my wife was driving with 2 boys in the back. Good job we have a dashcam. Third party claiming they weren’t even in the area at the time They weren’t just in the area, they were almost IN my car!

Hope the missus and kids are OK - cars can be repaired or replaced, family can't. +1 for dashcams - I've got them front and rear

Hope your wife and kids were ok (and I seem to recall one of the kids is a baby), cars can be replaced people cant.

As for the people on the dash cam why would they not own up unless somebody had stolen there motor (but you would hope they knew that)

I think they were hoping it was our word against theirs, and that we didn’t have any proof.
