Hello to all! I made a modification to the footwell led lights: I added a new cable to the car hardness that lets me put 2 lights, 1 front and 1 back.
The care came with led light only for the front seats.
Now I have the error below. Is there a way to fix the error? An adjustment with VCDS?

0531 - Footwell Illumination
B11FF 01 [009] - Electrical Failure

Fault Status: 00000001
Fault Priority: 6
Fault Frequency: 1
Terminal 15 status: On
Terminal 50 status: OFF

Hello friends, I have a 2016 model year seat leon fr vehicle. It has Mib1 unit, retrofit seat sound, rear view camera. I made a mistake today. I was going to make a carbon background on the MIB1 unit with my clone vcds cable, but something went wrong. The appearance of the menus has changed. The subwoofer menu has disappeared. The car photo that appears when you enter the vehicle status menu is no longer there. Before doing these operations, I scanned the vcds. The relevant long code When I copy it back and apply, it seems to accept the code, but there is no change on the tape screen. I wonder where I might be doing wrong. How can I restore the system? Thank you in advance for your help.

2016 MY should have MIB2 unit from factory, at least in the UK it does.

I installed a RLHS sensor on my 2015 Leon FR and auto wipers worked but the car thinks the windshield is always fogged up. Any ideas what this could be?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the following, see picture, I think it would be good to have the mirror heating come when turning rear window heating on. 2 VCDS Mirror heating.jpg

STG 42 > Coding > Byte 09 > Activate bit 2 ("rear_window_heater_trigger,active")

STG 52 > Coding > Byte 09 > Activate bit 2 ("rear_window_heater_trigger,active")

no guarantee

Gave it a try with heated rear screen on and the door control know on Left, Middle, Right the only way to get action appears to be using the heated mirror setting. However I dont know how long the Heated Mirrors stay on for to see if with heated rear screen on that they stay on as long as the rear screen if that makes sense. But bottom line so far made no difference.

OK had a play - firstly, the coding listed for the PQ25 module above works great on the PQ25 - tried it on the 2014 Toledo and it's working spot on.
As far as the (facelift) Leon goes, it's a no go. I coded both sides as per @cairus post above, and unfortunately, it makes no difference. You can easily see if the function works as follows - on the infotainment, select Vehicle-View-Convenience Consumers. With ignition on and engine started, switch on heated rear window (it won't work with engine not running). You'll see a message on the screen saying rear window heater is on. Switch mirror heat on with the switch on the door, and you'll see another message saying mirror heat is running. But change and save the coding as described, the mirror heat message does not appear with the heated rear window message when the rear window heater is switched on, whether the mirror switch is on left, centre or right. On both modules 42 and 52, I've tried ticking bit 2 rear window heater trigger only, ticking bit 1 mirror heater single trigger only, and these two bits together as well - no joy on my 2019 model.
Oh well, worth trying!
