These led strips also work as the indicators.

not entirely sure how they work internally but if there is a short between the drl and the indicator circuit then both bulbs may be activated by the drl circuit but only get half the power due to the short so you end up with a dim orange and dim white combining to make the dim yellowish.

just a thought, could be nonsense though

Not on the preface lift models they don’t mate, only white drl. There’s a small bulb for the indicator under the strip in the middle of the unit

Hello guys, i have almost the same problem.
But to me it seems it is not fully DRL yellow just only some part of it, as you can see in photos.
My Leon is 110k km Face-lift model, so it's going to yellow also when I use the blinker.
Maybe some short circuit ? I'm thinking to do this lights reset from Settings, maybe it will do something.
Some advices ? does it worth to buy new DRL module, or maybe the problem is from inside headlight led tube?

Completely out of the blue, but maybe the LED driver module for the TFL is defective

sorry, thought from German. TFL = Daytime Running Light... every headlight has the module for it.

I was thinking about this, but i don't know how exactly works.
Like, is it possible only half of the DRL to be dimmed and the source of problem to be DRL module ??? My logic says no, but i repeat, i didnt check the drawings...
