I have the drilled and grooved MTECs but I know they do the 256mm rears in C-hook as well.
My rears are actually 280mm mk4 Golf TDI front discs but that's besides the point.

Sorry I meant the Godspeed ones.
Larger tears would be nice but would want to keep the matching pattern.

Do the 280mm go on with no issues for cupra r, always wanted a slightly bigger rear disc that won't compromise the braking

It took a bit of working out as there is a few conflicting bits and pieces online plus when I bought the carrier adapters from Creation Motorsport they were fvcking useless with install help.
Basically they don't tell you that the won't work directly with the LCR carriers so I ended up switching to S3 8L carriers as they have a 6mm offset.

Having a stage 1 remap on my Leon Cupra 280 tomorrow. Any tips or advice?

Yeah few hrs notice isn’t ideal.
If it were mine it would have new oil and spark plugs as a minimum.
Make sure it’s full of V power fuel.

You have a 280hp car that you're getting remapped.
The fuel economy ship has sailed surely 😄

No, I get low 30’s at the moment. I’m not expecting great fuel economy, I’m asking if V Power provides higher economy than cheaper supermarket petrol.

No it’s better for your engine with a higher Ron value that reduces engine knock.
Also best power gains are seen fueling with V Power on rolling roads.
Your mpg may not read correctly after the map as there is additional fuel air and timing being added.
One to ask your mapper about.

You should be running 98 or 99 Ron petrol anyway really. You lose a few horsepower and the economy isn't quite as good even on a stock car.

V Power has cleaning additives that take about 3000 miles to work fully. I don't know if Tesco 99 has any added. Either is decent - I use Tesco 99 all the time.

All done?
Happy with it?
All done, and very happy with it 👍🏼 It’s what the car should have come with from the factory imo. Flys now.

He couldn’t turn the start/stop function off unfortunately though. Something to do with VW emissions. They’ve made it difficult to fully disable.
