:ROFLMAO:

Bonnets are an all over bodyshop job really. At least you can remove it, drop if off and collect later!

I might just try and blend it. If I can get it close enough I might be able to live with it, but it annoys the hell out of me.

When you're a car guy you always spot the smallest of imperfections which most would say nout to worry about an they right but because you know about it, it annoys the hell out of you. Mines same full respray it's not 100 perfect but it's little bits that bug you, these old cars will never be perfect but it won't stop us trying and spending our cash

It's a good excuse to wash the car too - I'm not even parked under a tree, but damn...

Hopefully a few light layers will do it - just build it up gently rather than going crazy. I've sprayed a few things since I did the rear bumper a couple of years ago and they've all turned out fine.

And it's true - nobody's going to be looking at it too hard...

Picked up some parts for one of the projects currently in progress, and almost picked up another PD150 engine for curiosity because it dumped all its coolant in the sump. Very tempting to see what damage has been done inside. Might go for it anyway as it’ll give me something to practice on

Decided against picking up the random engine and strip down the spare engine I have.

First time stripping an engine down tbh, everything looks okay

No sign of marking in the bores

No contact and it doesn't look like there's much to be concerned about

Yup, everything looks good... well, almost everything

Not entirely sure that's a helpful profile. Plus #1 glow plug not liking freedom as much as the other cylinders... could've been a lot worse

Juat time for a quick snow foam, wash and a coating of poor boys black hole. Much needed.
The farmers have been busy in the field across the road, typically the few days I’d left the car uncovered it gets covered in dust.
It’s shadows by the way, the front of the car is the same colour as the near side.
Off to Llandudno today to a transport festival and it’s raining so it’s gonna get wet and probably parked in a muddy field, brilliant.

@iammooks think your missing key ingredient, poison of your choice to celebrate or shout and curse with lol. Best of luck

My parents have a lot of wine. I don't think I'm too old to raid their cellar. That's why I'm going to do it on their driveway after all.
