When did you order, when is it arriving?

My car was due to arrive at the dealership tomorrow so I chased up to make sure everything was still on track. This was the response...

Vehicle was ordered 27th of May and build week was week 37. View attachment 28231
Feel that communication with LO has been very poor. I have been trying to find out details for delivery, dealer is Swansway Group, Crewe but no info. They don't even know if its on the ship

Similar to me this mine has been built at port in Barcelona for 3 weeks now and no ship …. I feel sorry for the dealers they are doing their best but cupras communications aren’t the best right now. I’m just trying to be patient but it doesn’t help reading about others who know boat names and tracking them it just makes me more impatient haha

Mine is also being supplied by Swansway. Tried to directly contact then on Monday and just got fobbed off saying we’re not your supplying dealer. I did ask Leasing Options who confirmed but just said it’s because they want to directly deal with them, still no build date…

Hi guys.
I am a Norwegian living in Germany so English forum is better then the German one, My car arrived yesterday, the VZ2 310PS and it looks so good. But of course when I sign the contract for my new car they drove the new VZ5 in to the store for display. That was also a beautiful car but the price was 67.000 euro so a great del more then the VZ2. One question, I need winter tiers, what size are you guys driving. Since I have Brembo I need 19" so thinking 245/45 19 winter tiers and 255/35 20 summer. I actually see that 255/35-19 winters tiers are cheaper then 245/45-19.

I've read through every single page of this forum over the last couple of days, and I'm in a similar situation.

I ordered the VZ2 Dark Camo on 3rd July 2021.
My order form states to be with me 30th November, but realistically I was told it would be December.

Speaking to my dealer, Cupra in Sheffield, my sales rep has no confirmed build week/date or anything of real value to update. I've tried contacting Cupra via all contact us options, phone, messenger, contact us section of the website to no avail. Like most, I'm considering cancelling as the likelihood is I won't get this till next year. Frustrating to say the least.

I ordered a 1.5 DSG V2 in Jul just as the 21MY Changed to 22MY. Got given a build week of 43, I have just had an update that it was built week 40 but awaiting Semi Conductors! This was a nice surprise considering all the delays I’ve been reading about.

Had the phone call that my car is at the Port and will be at the dealership in 10 days. This is going to feel like a long 10 days.

When did you order yours? Hopefully 10 days will fly by if you ordered in June like myself

Getting really hacked off with the delays and lack of communication now, almost at the point of losing all interest in the car before it's even arrived :(

It does make it easier when you realise its not just a CUPRA problem, but a semiconductor shortfall that not just impacts car brands, but now affects 169 different industries, including construction, mobile device, surgical instruments, and telecommunications.

I don't have mine yet, but I promise it will be worth it :)

Fingers crossed, I think its more irritating when I see vehicles ordered weeks or months after ours being delivered. :cautious:

Ordered Mid Jul, had about 3 updates from the dealer and then the phone call to say it’s in the UK.

I watched a 8 min video on YouTube about the conductor shortage and that put into perspective of how much everyone is struggling. It made it a lot easier to accept the car will arrive when it arrives and not to constantly expect updates or a faster timeline.

I feel exactly the same. Really debating whether or not to cancel. It's kinda taken some of the novelty away.

Ordered 28th October, had an email today saying earliest delivery possible is this Friday. Can’t argue with that!
It's horrible waiting for factory orders at the best of times.
I wanted a VZ2, but ordered on Saturday and picked up a V2 from stock yesterday. Very happy so far.
Yes mate the main reason I chose it was that it was already in the port waiting for an owner
I did the same as my last car was stolen. Ordered on Saturday and took delivery yesterday. I wanted a VZ2 but had to go with a V2. Very impressed as I even got the heated wheel which I don't think is in the spec and helps on those cold mornings.
Keep the faith of your waiting. It'll be worth it.

Heated wheel was dropped for the V2 unless you spec the DSG. But nice to have definitely.

Passed a transporter full of Formentors yesterday morning Southbound on M1 around Jct 28 so hopefully someone is getting theirs (would’ve preferred to see it heading for Doncaster though!).

Have you called Nationwide and checked with them? I still get those emails stating "no updates", but when I called them directly, I have a confirmed build week (22nd Nov) with a potential delivery date of the start of January. Might be worth calling them directly.
I have phoned them several times but still no build date,I emailed them again yesterday 12/11/21 and asked for a constructive update on the order,I must have over twenty "no update" emails, very frustrating!

Do you know who the supplying dealership is? NVC can provide those details to you, call them up directly and ask for an update with your SLI number. You might get more luck that way. Fingers crossed!
