When did you order, when is it arriving?

They usually do the same route, Sheerness, Grimsby then Port of Tyne. The ships carry different VAG cars. I only ever had one delivery date, this was 3-5 days after the ship had unloaded at Grimsby.

Likely still got Grimsby and Tyne then before mine would be offloaded, as Tyne is the closest port to me. Definitely doesn't look like it will be at my dealer by Monday then if that is the case.

I’m not sure that any Seat/Cupra cars get unloaded at Tyne, they load the ship up with Nissans from Sunderland to go the other way. It wouldn’t surprise me if your car gets to you on the 1st of December or the end of this month to suit the targets of the dealer.

VZ2 310 in Midnight Black with no other extras ordered 25th May through an employee car discount scheme. Build week 32 (9th August). Waited what seemed like for ever for semi conductors. Picking it up next Friday 3rd December. So just over six months wait. Had a lengthy test drive at Letchworth Cupra so I know it'll be worth the wait.

managed to get a test drive as well
waiting now for dates. expected delivery date on paperwork is 31 march but not holding out much hope due to chip shortage

Just had my VZ2 in Dark Camo delivered by a delivery company.
I rejected the car as it had scratches on the front passenger wing, rear driver side wheel arch molding and drivers side door.
Dent on the front splitter and a chunk of paint missing from the front lower bumper.

That would be bad enough normally but with however long you’ve waited then another delay (if you’re going to have it repaired / replaced) it’s ridiculous.

If you can find the supplying dealer and SLI number you may have some luck with an update - mine is through Nationwide as well, told December delivery but then no updates at all, supplying dealer JCT have been very helpful at providing updates albeit not what you may want to hear but at least you have something... mine's still waiting for a build slot :-( they are expecting it to be delivered May 22

May 2022 - wow! When did you place the order and what model is it? Mine was ordered end of Oct for end of March delivery. I’m guessing from what people are saying that this is very likely to be delayed :-(

5th October, eHybrid 245 vz1 Magnetic Tech and they were adamant it would be a December delivery as would have already been built/in build... annoyingly would have ordered in May but wanted something quickly and was advised Audi Q3 would be July/August or Formentor November/December. Ordered the Audi only for that to keep being delayed (mention of July 22) so eventually cancelled that and placed this order...

I ordered a VZ2 310 on 13/5 and it was delivered on 29/9, seemingly quite lucky by all accounts.

Yes, ordered 18/05 and was informed that it was built w/c 13th September (wk 37 I think) then no more updates available - lost interest it it tbh

Had a call from Cupra to say the car is on the Aquarius Ace, any of you ship experts know where it is/when it's due to dock?

Aquarius Ace judging by all accounts went to Southampton grimsby/leeds and then to the north East port of tyne, judging its shipping route may be there tomorrow early hrs its possible you may get it delivered to VAG Leeds mine was.

Bet you had someone elses reject by the sounds, was it leased or from a car showroom? If leased demand that this is sorted to a cupra approved bodyshop and resolved straight away.

Hopefully its the southampton port for the dealer i think mine as leeds/grimsby because im more up north needed to be delivered on a flatbed for 200 odd mile i think still would have thought it would have been delivered to a Cupra Dealership buy hey ho.

Thanks, Im guessing it will stop at Southhampton on its way back? Dont think they would be unloading my car in Sheerness for Snow's Cupra?
