Not had the software upgrade to yet, but mine started to pop intermittently over the last 3-4 weeks, so not related. Not too bothered, might try the privacy thing if it does begin to annoy.I had the pops today. First time I’ve noticed that since the software update.
Mrs was playing around with her mobile at the time so wondered if that might have anything to do with it?
Nothing else other than double pop through speakers.
Will keep a close ear on things again now.

Not just a close ear; keep an eye too on the three icons in the top right hand corner of the infotainement screen. If you get the double pop, you can expect two of them (the globe and person profile icons) to disappear for a while.I had the pops today. First time I’ve noticed that since the software update.

I have booked the car in, but switching off both phones so they couldn't connect, plus restarting the system a few times seems to have worked. Defaulted the profile to guest though not me.I had the pops today. First time I’ve noticed that since the software update.

I may be repeating myself here so bare with me, I’ve had my VZ2 since beginning of July, I haven’t set myself up with a profile, haven’t used Cupranet, I’ve just got in the car, started the engine and driven it and touch wood my only issue is that on some occasions, the system is a bit laggy for the first 5 minutes. That’s it. ACC, Lane Asssit, Apple Car Play, Aircon everything just works. Settings are retained, favourites are remembered.I have booked the car in, but switching off both phones so they couldn't connect, plus restarting the system a few times seems to have worked. I might try that; delete my profile and drive as a guest.I may be repeating myself here so bare with me, I’ve had my VZ2 since beginning of July, I haven’t set myself up with a profile, haven’t used Cupranet, I’ve just got in the car, started the engine and driven it and touch wood my only issue is that on some occasions, the system is a bit laggy for the first 5 minutes. I think there’s definitely something in “the car is trying to be too clever for its own good” type of thinking, and so I’ll be keeping mine to “guest” and enjoying the effortless performance I have under my right foot.
Not a bad shout, Not sure how many things are actually kept the same, especially if I'm using AA.I might try that; delete my profile and drive as a guest.
Exactly what I’ve done. Couldn’t be bothered if I’m honest. And yes car seems to work fine and no issues or niggles.I may be repeating myself here so bare with me, I’ve had my VZ2 since beginning of July, I haven’t set myself up with a profile, haven’t used Cupranet, I’ve just got in the car, started the engine and driven it and touch wood my only issue is that on some occasions, the system is a bit laggy for the first 5 minutes. Also like everyone else it hates changes users and is in fact sat on the drive locked with the radio still playing as the infotainment system hasn’t caught upYou and almost everyone else.
