From what I've seen in general, there is a chip which goes into the VZ models which is missing. Some have been sitting in the port at Grimsbury for a month now.
Mine is a V2 so let's see if it effects it.

Lets hope not. I'm awaiting a V2 as well which has been confirmed as going into production next week.
Did you find you had a different confirmed build week from your given unconfirmed week or did it stay the same? Mine is unconfirmed week 39 so hopefully it stays the same or is earlier!

No, it stayed the same. When I first spoke with Cupra they said I had a provisional build date of week 37 and to contact them the following week. When I went back on to their webchat the following week I had the same operator who advised that the provisional date had now been confirmed and will go into production on week 37.

I got a confirmed build date of week 43 ordered 2nd June form Leasing Options. Hopefully they have planned around the chips being available!
I ordered through NVC on the 2nd June and reached out to CUPRA on Monday. They advised the status has finally been changed to a provisional build week 41.
I am hoping that this gets confirmed in the next couple of weeks
DSG, MIDNIGHT BLACK, spec was locked so couldn't put any options on other than the colour. Plus the option I wanted added 6 months onto the wait.
Ordered a VZ1 245 2.0tsi from Leasing Options 1st June. At the end of July was told unconfirmed build slot in week 40. At the end of August, I had no build slot. After speaking to them on Monday I now have an unconfirmed slot for week 38, got to speak to them next week to see if it's been confirmed.

I got the exact same message on Friday last week, so frustrating as was hopeful would be one of the lucky ones, you had any other update?
