Ive not bothered pulling the cover off for a look.
No point.
Theres only one garage it trust round my way and they be the ones doing the job in September.
Im sure itll be fine till then.
If not itll end up at the Wronghorse and CO vehicle dismantlers.
And ill be lookin for a cheap shitter to get me out of trouble.

Should be ok mate. Only thing I’d be concerned about is the high heat we use in the winter. What gauges you got there?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I ran it today with the air con and it seemed fine that way, the gauges are auto meter comps I think, they are a nice bit of kit, ill just have to see what they act like with hot air on them.

If the gauges where fitted properly then they will have stuffed the back with something to protect them. I used bubble wrap.

Yeah we fitted them well I imagine they should be a well sealed unit so hopefully time will tell.

Any chance you can pull them out and block the pipework behind? That'll help.

Alternatively, refit the original dash vents and send me the gauges and facia.
I can look after them for you 😇
Lol thanks for the kind offer 😆, yeah if I run into issues I'll block it off some how but had air con on to day and they worked as they should so hopefully be ok.

Why is the car insurance industry so determined to wipe out their market?
People die, you need new drivers, that will be young drivers.
I don't know of anyone learning to drive anymore.
(Due to Insurance premiums usually)
Or I'm such an old fart that I don't know any youngsters anymore.

Bought a Fleabay Skoda two button remote key,
and,
it works a treat after using the "two key method"
The locks all work perfectly.

Not for long I suspect.

Fitted my front brake pads. Usced some fancy ceramic brake pad goo instead of copper grease.
Did notice that one disc is getting warmer than the other. Will keep an eye on that.

Yes she had the black box fitted. Unbelievable she did it while I was at work, next thing I know the box is on the table.

Thanks mate. Hope your well. That was his name, hopefully he pops up on here because I think what she got was done, I asked her what the hell? She said they asked on average....being a none driver she just said a 1,000 because she doesn't drive a lot so thought it to be right....wasnt told about the extra payments for extra miles.

I feel she was conned. I've never heard about this limited milage especially with 40+ year olds. I'm very angry at flux but my hands are tied to a 12 month contract THAT I PAY. COME ON FLUX SPEAK UP.

I haven't seen my car for a fortnight - last I did, the other half had parked it under a tree and it was caked in sap and the back was filled with plasterboard. Looks like the clay bar will be making an appearance soon.

Had a job come in and of course my brain instantly starts thinking about a rear ARB but am being mature and grown up and am going to wait and see what kind of difference the new shocks make before I spend more money. Given the ones on there have the VW/Audi branding on them, they're sixteen years and 160k miles old so I'd be surprised if I didn't see a little difference in handling...

See you need an ARB its a health and safety thing - you wouldn't want to go flying off into the boonies with those nice new shocks ...
