It's a but broken View attachment 24502

Thats what i want to be driving in a year or 2.
Passed my class2 last year and started a new job driving an 18 tonner in November. Once i get to 2 years experience and a little more employable, i want to go onto 8 wheelers.
Not exactly end of the rainbow stuff but it'll do me.

Had a look at the pcv system i removed from my car today.
Its looking ok but will replace a few hoses and need to figure out what the cable ties are for. The valve works so hoping the cable ties aren't holding it together.

I left it at the workshop and should have bought it home with me. Will grab it tomorrow for closer inspection.
Im hoping that valve is ok. Seems to be the only part i cant find for sale.
But happy its generally in decent nick an not total bin food.
Going to reinstall it in a few weeks hopefully.

Did some hose lengthening...
Ever since I fitted my Badger 5 TIP, the Creations hose to the DV was too short and I had to install the OEM pipe back (OEM was slghtly longer and being rubber had a certain stretch to it that silcone doesn't). Anyhow, this had been bugging me for a year or two and an impending boost increase ;)got my thinking I should sort this pipework out. I bought a 22mm OD length of pipe and spliced my CM hose in half. Hey presto... and extended hose. Still not perfect but better than before. Why are the simplist of things such a pain in the bum?!?

Oh yeah, look at the quality difference of these two (left - ebay special, right - Samco):

Just been looking at the pcv system im going to be putting back on my car as the continued emptying of the catch tank is doing my head in.

This is what i have to refit.
Just ordered a silicone hose kit to tidy it up.

Im not liking the look of this T piece? Anyone know where i can get one from or part number?
Also is the item in the second pic part of the T piece or a separate item?

Sometime last year I posted a photo of the pcv and a list of part numbers.
Here it is https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/breather-hoses-replacements-or-make-up-your-own.461250/

Ive no idea to be honest. That part of it should be under vacuum as far as im aware. So shouldn blow apart.
I'll probably pull it all apart before it goes back on the car so will report back with any findings.

The Creations replacement hose comes with the T piece built in

There's valve inside you need to transfer across to the new pipe.

This is also the most common pipe to split so worth getting a replacement.

Do the valves wear out or do they seem to last?
The valve was something i was thinking of buying from the dealers.
Also, have you used one of these hoses? Fitment quality?

Just had my Lufi X1 delivered. I've had a little play with it and even for me it's way to setup. Got to go and sorted for work, wahoo Nightshift. So will have to wait until Wednesday to have a proper fiddle with it.

I reused mine - it's just a spring in a tube and fairly easy to clean.

All the hoses fitted fine for me.
