Went out in the pissing rain just now to bleed the caliper again. It doesn't look like there's any more air coming through, but the pedal still losses pressure after a couple of seconds.

Doing anything more involved will probably mean getting the Gunson out and I just haven't got the energy for that right now.

No leaks in the system and fluid level has stayed the same, so I'm drawing a blank again.

Have you ran the engine and tried the pedal again?

Turned the engine over to reset the piston after winding it back, but that's all - I haven't driven it anywhere yet. Might go for a drive round the block later when it's quieter to see what kind of feel I get when there are actual revs going through the engine. Have to remind myself that I haven't torqued the rear wheel nuts before I do that though...

When I push the pedal when the engine's off, there's a little movement but after that it's firm.

Its alright kids , his car is over 16 and consenting

He’d rather be groping around with a handful of nuts under the turret. Of which I still have to fit mine. Waiting for the bolts to arrive!!

To be honest i will have to make a few mods before I can fit mine, the bonnet strut bracket is in the way, and my Intercooler piping is likely going to be in the way as well. But what fun is a straight fit?

Yup or if you want to get posh use rivnuts ..............no groping around then.
Totally agree, I'm a huge advocate for rivnuts especially when installing strut braces.
It makes fitment and removal for future maintenance so much quicker and easier.

Yeah I got the TT brace too. I cut it to fit I’ll stick a photo up at some point. I need to move my catch can and eventually a FMIC will need thought

Be really keen to see your solution. I know you can switch the side of the bracket the damper is on, but it looks like more metal on metal clash will happen, only eye balled it up in the dark

Also those riv nuts do look handy for future removal actually

Ive got one from an S3.
Instead of modding the bonnet lift strut/mount, i took a flap disc to the edge of the strut brace. Just enough for it to fit. Dab of black paint on the bare metal and job done. That part of the job took 5 to 10 mins max.
Maybe the TT item is different to the S3?
