Got the car ready for the ring trip....

Got both tyre choices on rims ready, slicks on the 17s and direzzas on the 18s

Trimmed all front bumper and wing, rolled the arches because the new tubular subframe game me +10 castor , causing wheel fouling bodywork

Fitted custom length drop links again the castor has pushed the driveshafts forward and was having driveshaft to roll bar contact

Fitted the solo 2 lap timer

Loaded on trailer and strapped it down ready for leaving on tuesday

More photos of trimming out.

The 17s look lost on ut but are a fair bit lighter than the 18s

Also -3 camber looking sweet on front end shots

Fitted some new discs....... View attachment 17181
Looks a good setup.....you can't do that car justice without tubular subframe set up.

You won't regret it, transformed an already good car, the turn in now is fantastic i can carry so much corner speed its great.

Where the arb drop links from? I need some 300mm min size, had to make some on short notice

1st trip out since January!
1st trip anywhere in the Leon.
Made the most of a beautiful week off and stretched the Cupra's legs a bit.

Took a ride up to Windermere for some summer predator fishing, a few nice perch and a couple of pike.

A much needed scrub after all those miles!

Since I got the car 3 weeks ago the little mods have slowly been added. I think this one will be an ongoing project for a while! Skirts and splitters are calling to me.

I fitted a whiteline rear anti roll bar to mine today after work. The car already handles really well but what a difference it’s made unfortunately the front Whiteline anti roll bar is on back order for 6weeks but I’m gonna buy that too and fit it. It’s so much more responsive to turn in now and carry a higher speed around bends and feels completely planted at speed. Well worth the money. I only took this pic unfortunately as I did it on the drive after work and just wanted it done before sunset. Ps i got the whiteline bar from DPM via eBay absolutely awesome service they posted it next day as well which is great as I’m the most impatient guy when it comes to car parts. I’ve only just seen they are site sponsors too. I’ll definitely be buying the front arb when it’s in stock from them too.

My new car cover arrived.
Keep my Leon all nicely dry and keep the sun off it. Also helps my nerves when the kids ride past it on their scooters. Lol
Had one for a previous car and it was great.
If you only use your car every so often and don’t have a garage ( or like me have a garage full of kids bikes and the like) then this is a brilliant solution.
From a company called specialised covers in Yorkshire.
Really good quality triple layer, fleece lined fully breathable and waterproof cover. Made to measure using images I sent them and fits like a glove.
Not cheap but well worth it.
