Nothing wrong with RC cars whatever age you are! Lol
I’m nearly 40 and I’ve got 3. My 8 year old got a rock crawler last year so I ended up getting one aswell so we can go out together with them. They’re ace!
I’ve become a bit obsessed with buying the clear lexan bodyshells and modifying them.
Don’t really use my old ones anymore since getting the new one.

The orange one had gained a few extras since, a roof rack spare wheels
( and a few scuffs).

I’m 50.
Lots of RC stuff, For my kid, honestly.
Yup remember ni cad etc.
Lipo are excellent though.
We have mini crawlers, big crawlers, fast buggies, short course truck, 2x tanks. And a couple of others.
My lad loves them as do I.
Spend my life fixing them so we can break them on the weekend.

1 thing I done for a few years was rc bangers... great fun. Smash them up and then fix them. Running on mardave mini chassis.

Broke into or you forgot to measure the IKEA furniture before shutting the boot lid?
Neither! Was about to put something in the boot, was sizing things up to work out how it would fit and then suddenly BOOM!!! Must have had a chip or something in it and the change from cold to warm (had the rear demister on) killed it

Ah now that happened to me in an 806 taxi. It was a really hot summer and the air con in those is simply awesome. Stopped to drop off the customers, the guy in the front gave me the money, I had his change in my hand and just as I handed it to him the guys closed the rear door and boom! Glass EVERYWHERE including on top of the roof. Without missing a beat the guy hands me back the change and says "that's towards a new window"

Had timing belt and water pump done and also front wishbones replaced.
Noticeable difference with dem bones! Car feels much better.
Cautiously optimistic that the water pump was the cause of me loosing so much coolant. I was filling up the reservoir every morning and again in the evening to get home from work, heater was also running cold more frequently (not something you want in this weather!) So far I've driven my car from garage to home, work then back and today after I got to work (30 miles each way) the coolant level warning beeped at me. Hoping it's just the system bleeding the air out. Wish me luck guys.
