Snooped around engine to see if there was an obvious reason for loosing coolant and only saw crusty streaks on the expansion tank bottle so fingers crossed it’s just s failed cap (ordered new one). Fixed my rear wiper water jet and front passenger side jets that were blocked and then fixed the passenger side electric window switch so passengers now have the luxury of winding the window down and now up! 
(there was a piece of white plastic that had broke off and stopped it rocking one way). And now for a good scrub!

Car is dropped off at welders to get the cage fitted. Seat rails and window net fittings too. Also to mount a frame work to fit a 60l fuel cell set up too.
On a good note. Should be getting a work shop next door to the fabricator. So hopefully some good news

Tomorrow or Tuesday I am going to pop to xsport and order front bumper. Front splitter. Bonnet and boot lid. All in fibreglass
So little update got the car running last week, tranny works great! She's parked now waiting to do some things before tuv inspection, then she will be on the road.
We arrived back in Germany safe and the parts are in my buddies garage awaiting install after she's back on the road. (His kids decided to make a funny photo of the parts haha)
Next time I come up to the UK itll be with the car ready to rock and roll a meet up and track day!

Fitted stock mk1 Cupra 16" wheels today. Didn't want these but was cheap and good condition. 18" wheels I had on were shockingly bad

Super pro bushes all in. The old ones were proper ruined!!
Custom rear brake pipes 1 piece!
Also found someone had bodjed the front brake flexi into the calliper. Used the wrong type banjo and now cut an imperial thread into the calliper. So having to tap to m12 and get custom front braided hoses made
Also I am horrified to post pics of those lovely bushes in the old rusty arms and rear beam. Will be getting pulled over winter for a proper refurb but only 1 week till donnington and then only 3 1/2 weeks till the ring

I’m not sure actually?? They were on the car and when I ordered the bushes there was an option for cast arms or pressed steel so I popped my head under car and ordered for cast arms
