No it can't. Only the models with the satnav are able to play videos (during stop).
I think that they are called "mib high".
Also this is illegal in many countries.

I have researched the same thing a year ago, and the only solution I have found is a device called video interface.

Basically it is an android box that is attached in between the head unit and the display and you can switch between them.

Ill share with you coding for old ABS unit (2013-2014) which doesn't have byte 29 to do coding for ESC Sport/OFF. This unit usually has finished with byte 28 value C0 s TPMS or value 40 without TPMS.

If you want ESC sport/OFF on this unit change coding in byte 25 mark bit 4
After this you will get this setting menu

I found the above in this forum (i don't remember the thread). It hasn't helped me, as my 2014 FR has byte 29, but the previous owner had changed the infotainment with a S160 Android unit that the only thing it shows is ASC activated or not activated whatever change i do.

Partially incorrect - the presence of sat nav is irrelevant in this case. I have sat nav but because I don't have the Navi System Plus (as Seat call it) I can't play video. Navi System Plus can play videos up to 720p as long as they are in a supported format.

Il test my leon fr (2017). I did manage to get my phone working with full link before, using lg app, but it doesnt work anymore. I think samsung updated their software and blocked my phone

I updated the SW my Leon ST290 from 245 to 346, and i have a strange problem: the Sport display reset itself every time... i set up the followings dials: Turbo load, Oil Temp, Water temp - and the next day the turbo, the g-senzor, and the Power meter (KW) is there... Adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor
With this modification you can adjust the sensitivity of the light sensor.
1 - Module 09 - Electronic. Code (31347)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - Functions assist light
4 - Sub - Lichtsensorempfindlichkeit
5 - Select one of three options:
- Normal (default)
- Sensitive
- Non sensitive

If you have Android Auto, look into AA mirror - needs a rooted Android phone to work, though

Hoping anyone can help

did some coding with the VCDS and unlocked most features, however i just noticed my sat nav screen now shows a Golf and not a Leon anymore !! please help, the optical parking is also showing the VW version and no longer the Seat Leon version. Start up screen shows seat leon FR but when in parking pilot its completely different now and the car that shows up on the screen is a GOLF! not a leon like before. Can anyone tell me how to solve this or where i've gone wrong?

Also since i did the coding straight after my sat Nav said "The navigation data in the SD card are not valid. Please check data"

Hi this put my orange lights on on sports mode but my indicators front are all messed up cannot send video but left indication is making both orange lights flash instead of jus the left and when right indicators on the dlr is flashing only without orange light how do I fix this thanks

I think you are wrong on (12) & (13) on left side may it be blinken links....

And right side (5),(8) (16) (17) blinken rechts.....

Hi everyone,
ive got an mk3 leon fr.

Ive done some vcds coding from this forum to set front and rear drl’s to flash intermittently with indicators, which worked fine but I would like to set that to dimming mode whilst the indicator is on.
can someone give me the correct vcds codes to set front and rear drl’s to DIM down when the indicator is on? (not intermittently with the indicators)
at the moment it’s only the outer rear drl is on hellphase, is it possible to set the whole (inner and outer) rear drl’s to dim when the indicator is on?

and another thing annoys me is the speedo dimming light sensor. and when the light switch is on side light/drl the speedo lighting is not on. could someone tell me the coding how to set the speedo being constantly on, even on drl’s?
and stop that annoying dimming?

Dimming the dashboard back lights with the lights OFF is certainly annoying but a lot of people reckon that that is handy as a safety feature to prompt you that its time to switch the lights on, though that is untrue when you just passing under a short section of trees in leaf.
Why not just go looking to see what every bit "does", I've tried to kid myself that I'll construct a map for every controller in all the VW Group cars in my family - that remains a pipe dream - but it would be very handy to have that info.
There is definitely an option for keeping the dashboard back lighting on under all conditions when the ignition is ON.
