That's what I'm waiting for.

OK here you go the MIB1 / MIB 2 High one, ECE 2019, P175

http://vw-mapscdn.tdd.adacorcdn.com/P175_N60S5MIBH3_EU.7z

I took it from here

https://www.skodacommunity.de/threa...19-fuer-mib1-mib2.103181/page-78#post-1813081

Post 1557. Those practical Skoda guys... Walone be the Guinea pig. I'm sure it's fine. It was posted on Wednesday.

(MIB1 standard is on that link, post 1557 but given nobody has been able to do anything with that unless you got your unit modded / retrofit I didn't mention that - but it's there

Skoda alternative link for Mib2 High same set of files, which ever works the fastest on the download:

http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/maps/HIGH12_P175_EU_2019.zip

From

https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/452002-direct-download-links-for-ece-20182019-maps/?page=3

It hasn't arrived yet on Skodas VIN download look up which uses a file manager download program for problematic internet connections, ditto VWs version of that. Those are more Mac friendly as well avoiding those Mac generated hidden character codes which is the selling point of those for people who use Macs who have issues although there is Mac software which cleans these off :)).

The nav updates really aren't worth it... much better to use Mirrorlink with your mobile phone (assuming you paid the 100 quid for the option)!

If the map updates are free or low cost nothing lost. The Google stuff isn't that great. Lack of accuracy on final destinations and yes lack new developments.

The car system is integrated into the car. External systems go blank in tunnels not fed by wheel revolutions so look direction. Lane guidance - not likely. Say the same thing each time this comes up :).

Come on we have all used in-car and external navigation, it's not like the differences are in any way new. In-car is 'almost' always worse performers than phone apps or external dedicated GPS.

Hi all,
I have MY16, MIB 2 ,H30 hardware and 6P0 0820 software... is there anything to be gained from upgrading to 1030?

I already use Waze through CarPlay but wondered if the software upgrade was anything (cosmetic or functional) other than updating the nav maps?

Thanks
