iby104 what coding do you need to do as I would have thought OBD11 could do the coding (but may be wrong as i have it on my pre facelift car)

I got the original rain autolight sensor and switch, the auto rain sensor part didnt need coding but the auto light switch causes error messages on instrument cluster. I followed the vcds coding and adaptation procedure but it didnt work

Hi, Ive been using the old version of VCDS, partly because mine is a clone and partly because there was an issue at first with the newer not recognising the 5F when it was first updated, but does anyone know if that has now been resolved so I can update my software?

From what I've heard if you try to update the software on a clone cable it will kill the cable, I have genuine VCDS V2 cable with latest (18.2) software and no problems with 5F.

Okay, so wiring wise everything should be fine. Lets hope that vwmodul.de can come up with the correct parameterization that works on Leon.

Is your car a facelift model? I have seen two highline rear view cameras that have been fitted and working on a Leon, but both of the cars were pre-facelift models (Meich from https://www.facebook.com/mqbcoding/ and Rojas from https://www.clubseatleon.net/forum.php)

I have been thinking for a while about ordering a highline RVC from vwmodul.de for my facelift model Leon.
Now I have to patiently wait and see before ordering if they can do a working parameterization for you. Let me know when you get the camera back how things worked out.

Parametrization was wrong, at first they did it for Škoda. Sent camera back to them and now they did it for VW and also coded it for me

Now I can start seriously think about ordering the highline camera.

Do you have a picture of the coding in VCDS that you have now?
Have you done the camera calibration with the dotted plate via VCDS already?

I have not done the calibration and seems like I don't have to, video is nearly perfect. At least for me it seems perfect

Is there a translated list of what items are and their functions, when youre looking at your LOG files?
Example
German - ENG116952-ENG116179-Leuchte16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9-Lichtfunktion A 16
English - ENG116952-ENG116179-Light or Luminaire 16BLK SLB35BLK SL KC9- Light Function A 16

^Pretty straight forward.
But what is light 16BLK and what is function A16?

Not a VCDS User but on the lighting channels (on the pre facelift cars) check out this thread http://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/2125/lighting-channels it tells you what light belongs to what channel.

I’ve seen on YouTube that you can use vcds to program the car to use the horn instead of the alarm for the actual alarm....anyone know how??

A long while ago I programmed the driving mode to display in the FIS whenever it was changed and on start up. Once I had done this, the explanation text for each mode disappeared when you pushed the mode button. I naturally assumed that, as this was all I had changed this is why it suddenly stopped appearing.

I have now finally got round to turning it back off again but still no description text when I press the mode button. I can select each as normal bit I've just got a blank box above the buttons. Any ideas?

Also coded rain closing Windows today. Does this only work with ignition on and driving or does it put them up if they're left open during the day and it starts to rain?

Yeah I'd come to the realisation that was the case lol. I haven't bothered changing any coding back as it doesn't affect anything else anyway.

I’ve add auto lights to my Leon but the welcome lights to me don’t come on until it’s totally dark!! Is there anyway to adjust them ? I’ve got the vcds software so any help would be appreciated

I would prefer them to come on at dusk light
